Still Processing is a podcast where Jenna Wortham and Wesley Morris, two culture writers from the New York Times, dissect and try to make sense of what’s happening in the news and culture.
One of the best things about Still Processing is how the hosts always have their fingers on the pulse and each episode tends to relate to one of the big conversations happening in society around culture. Since they are timely and topical, you can jump in to the latest episode and not be lost. It feels akin to eavesdropping on a conversation between two of your smartest pals and is equal parts parts insightful and cathartic as they break down difficult conversations into something more digestible.
Some of my favourite episodes include “Joy” where Jenna helps Wesley to KonMari his apartment and examine what sparks joy, the one about Janet Jackson around the Super Bowl, the Oscars episodes (both this year and last year’s!), “We Get Biracial,” and the episode about Trump featuring Emily Nussbaum. I’ve never missed a podcast more when it was between seasons as I do when it’s between seasons for Still Processing.
