Expedia Group, one of the world's leading travel sites, recognized the need to deepen engagement with its hotel and destination partners, many of whom were not actively participating in social media channels or webinars.
Expedia Group approached Quill to support in bridging this gap. As a result, Powering Travel, a podcast that welcomes hospitality industry leaders to share insights into how they were innovating, adapting, and shaping the future of travel was launched.
Goals & Objectives
Expedia Group initially launched Powering Travel with the goal of increasing engagement among their hotel and destination partners. By inviting industry leaders as guests and delivering valuable B2B travel content, the podcast aimed to provide partners with actionable insights they could use in their day-to-day operations.
But as the show gained traction, Expedia’s objectives evolved.
The current goal is to maintain and engage Powering Travel’s established audience of travel professionals and partners while seamlessly integrating Expedia’s B2B campaigns into the audio format. By showcasing campaign content through the podcast, Expedia aims to keep partners informed and connected to the latest industry trends, innovations, and marketing efforts.
